Job Title: Financial System Administrator - Hyperion

Summary: Ethicon, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Systems Administrator, located in Somerville, NJ. Ethicon, Inc. develops and markets products for surgery, wound management and advanced wound care treatment. Products are marketed through four divisions: Ethicon Products for precise wound closure and tissue repair; Ethicon Women’s Health & Urology for minimally invasive women’s health procedures; and Johnson & Johnson Wound Management for hemostasis and advanced wound care.

This position will be responsible for maintaining and improving Ethicon's Global Consolidation system, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) version 4.0.5 and Hyperion Reports version 7.2. Summary: As a member of the Hyperion Implementation Team, the associate will be responsible for the design and development of new Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications within Pearson.   • Assist in developing a global support framework for the GBF Planning HFM Consolidations solution
  • Transition GBF support services from build/enhancements to a true support environment

This person is basically the first line of support to maintain the server health of two Hyperion systems (HFM and Planning ). User base is worldwide with over 300 users accessing these systems but the main user groups are based in NY (approximately 6 users) who handle numerous requests but will pass along many technical issues to the Hyperion Support Analyst. This person will also be responsible for executing upgrades of both Hyperion and 3rd party vendor software on these servers. Knowledge of navigating and managing Windows2000 & 2003 OS at a server level is required given that is where most of the work will occur. This person will be on call in the nights and weekends if critical server downtime occurs.
 
Skill Sets
 
Knowledge of installing Hyperion Financial Management or Hyperion Planning required. Good understanding of Windows2000 or 2003 SERVER environments is needed. Knowledge of Hyperion Planning or HFM from a functional perspective a plus. This not a heavy developer or technology role ! This person must be support focused and prefer to do support (versus playing with new technology or developing systems). Customer support skills need to be a strength.
