Hyperion User Groups (HUG) Merge with the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG)

It was recently decided that the HUGs will align with the Oracle Application User Group (OAUG). The OAUG is one of the largest independent Oracle users groups representing its members to Oracle to influence product direction and share feedback and best practices with Oracle development and strategy managers. The OAUG fosters communication and collaboration between all types of users, including functional and technical users, as well as managers. Within the OAUG there is a Hyperion Special Interest Group (Hyperion SIG) that focuses on all of the Hyperion applications. OAUG is our link to Oracle information and will enable all HUGs to have an opportunity to share our concerns with Oracle via an existing Oracle communication channel and to continue sharing information between Hyperion users.

Please remember for all information associated with Oracle, you must "opt-in" to get communications from them. You may "opt-out" at any time. This is different from Hyperion where once you were included in the Hyperion database, you would automatically receive information unless you requested not to.

Hyperion Special Interest Group (SIG)

Join the Hyperion SIG now to stay involved with the Oracle | Hyperion User Group. The Hyperion SIG is free to join and has information and links which are helpful to keep up-to-date on a regular basis with areas of interest for Hyperion application users. http://hyperionsig.oaug.org/

Also, visit http://www.oaug.org/usercommunities/geosandsigs/geos.html to find your local user group.

Additional Links

To receive emails or publications from Oracle, you need to subscribe to allow Oracle to send communications to you. Here is the link to Oracle.com with instructions on how to subscribe - http://www.oracle.com/newsletters/subscription-instructions.html?msgid=6568079

Many sections of OAUG are for paid members only, but if a corporation joins then the membership is for an unlimited amount of employees. www.oaug.org

For technical Essbase users, Oracle Development Tools User Group (ODTUG) is also available. For information, please see www.odtug.com

For database professionals there is also the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG). For information, please see www.ioug.org
